The Phillies keep it going

It hasn't been all peaches and cream for the defending World Series Champions, but the Philadelphia Phillies have played well and are leading the NL West despite not playing their best baseball. While it is good to see the Phillies atop the NL East standings, they will likely need to win a higher percentage of games than they have so far. Part of the reason they are enjoying the top of the division is because the New York Mets have been playing with just a fraction of the opening day roster and the Atlanta Braves have not been up to snuff. You'd have to think that both those teams are going to step it up soon, so the Phillies will likely have to step it up too. Luckily for Phillies ticket holders, this team is stacked with very good players who obviously know what it takes to win.

We all know that Ryan Howard is always going to be atop the list of the best boppers in the game. Jimmy Rollins is likewise always near the top of the All Star Ballot. We all know that Cole Hammels is one of the best young pitchers out there. So Phillies tickets holders know the talent to win is there.

Perhaps what will be a deciding factor will be the performance of Antonio Bastardo in his first few starts while replacing Brett Myers. The young pitchers has been very good so far in the minors, so we will have to see what he is able to do in the major leagues. If you can, get your Phillies ticket to see young Bastardo take on the rest of the NL.

And for those of you keeping track of interleague play, the Phillies have some of the AL's most formidable foes coming up. The monsters from the AL East will be taking on the Phillies, and you know that Red Sox Phillies tickets are going to be very hot sellers. And of course, the big bad Yankees are coming into town, so you've gotta think that Phillies Yankees tickets could be some of the biggest of the year.

All in all, its been a good year for fans with Phillies tickets. However, this team is going to have to do better if they are once again going to walk away with the NL East. Be there for all the baseball fun and get your MLB tickets to see it all live.
